We are delighted to welcome Paul Hellyer as our speaker .
Paul is a retired Dentist who has actually worked with the Mercy Ships in Africa.

Paul Hellyer worked in Bexhill-on-Sea for 30 years as a general dental practitioner and following that, as a clinical teacher at King’s College London Dental Institute and the University of Portsmouth. In the past 10 years he has been a short term volunteer dentist in a number of African countries for different charities, including Mercy Ships where he served in Liberia and Sierra Leone. Now retired, Paul spends his time volunteering with the National Trust, doing some local history research, writing, enjoying his grandchildren and beachcombing.
Paul has given numerous illustrated talks about his experiences with Mercy Ships to different groups over the past few years, telling the story of Mercy Ships and some of the people they have helped.
