About the Rotary Club of Fareham

The lively market town of Fareham lies halfway between the cities of Southampton and Portsmouth. It combines a High Street made up of characterful, historical buildings and a modern pedestrianised central shopping area. Boasting around 300 shops, plentiful cafes, restaurants and pubs, a wide range of business services and a lively entertainment scene, there is plenty to enjoy. Within easy access of the motorway, the town offers a great mix of modern attractions with an important historical architectural background.

We are an active mixed gender club of around 30 members, with a full social and charitable calendar. Our weekly meetings feature guest speakers, group meetings, social planning and fund raising events. We provide a beach-side community facility known as The Wheelhouse, which is used by social and charity groups from the local area. We meet on Thursday at 12.30pm (when there is a 5th Thursday in the month we occasionally meet in the evening together with partners and guests.) Our meeting venue is  Cams Hall Estate Golf Club, Cams Hill, Fareham Hampshire, PO16 8UP 01329 827 222

The Rotary Club of Fareham received its Charter in 1946, as a daughter club of the Rotary Club of Gosport. In turn we have become mother club to RC's Petersfield, Locksheath, Fareham Meon. Our club is twinned with Cabourg, France and Del Amo, California, USA
