Christmas in Grantown 2020
The Club supported the local Grantown does Christmas initiative in December 2020
We were delighted to present our long serving Club Secretary, Barbara
Paterson with a Paul Harris Fellowship award in recognition of her
excellent work and support to this club at the Grantown does Christmas event.

The Club has purchased a Shelter Box for use wherever in the world it is required so that no family is without shelter after disaster.

Two recycled laptops were handed over to Aviemore Primary School pupils by President, Mark Duncan as part of our wider support to local schools. We were assisted by Baztex Computers of Aviemore who carried out the refurbishment.

The Rotary Club of Spey Valley has rasied £2,500 by holding on-line Zoom Whisky tasting Tours over the early months of 2021 for the Marie Curie Charity.

The local Club have made a donation of £250 to Altnacriche Centre to help them support local Primary School Children with Outdoor learning during2021 COVID lockdown

2020 COVID has caused change to us all. Halting normality. With this in mind the Rotary Club of Spey Valley held a School Christmas decoration competition which was won by Abernethy.

We have presented all pupils who left P7 in 2020 in our Area with water bottles. Normally we would have attended an end of year assembly, but not this year. In the past we provided dictionaries but ceased this in 2018.
