We're off to Bowls...
We have been invited to an evening with Daventry Bowls Club on Western Avenue (Next door to the rugby Club).
Cost is £6 per head to include Pizza and Hot Dogs. Veggie and Gluten free options are available on request. The bar is fully licensed and will be open at club prices.
There will be a wet weather stand-by of short mat bowls but hopefully we shall be on the green.
There is a requirement for flat soled footwear, preferably sandals, trainers or deck shoes with no significant heels whilst on the green.
There will be experienced bowlers on hand to give peope tuition on bowling. The evening shall be hosted by the Bowling Club Chair person Phillip Silk-Neilsen.
Start at 7pm, club will be open at 6:30.
Can you please RSVP to John T asap, letting him know how many are coming, whether you want pizza or hotdogs, and if you require the gluten free or veggie options.
Sounds like a fun night... remember to leave your stilettos at home for this one - flat shoes only.
