RECYCLING BLISTER PACKS

A new project in partnership with the Croydon Soroptimists

At our first Zoom meeting of the new club year, Grace Onions from the Croydon Soroptimist Club spoke to us about reducing the use of plastic.

Our President is very keen on us ‘doing our bit’ to protect the environment and has been trying to think of an easy project we could undertake. She was delighted when Grace got in touch to say that she has found a collection point in Croydon to recycle blister packs from pills/tablets/medication, which most of us will have from time-to-time.

So Grace and Patricia are joining forces to encourage their respective members to save their empty blister packs

Once we return to normal weekly meetings, Patricia will collect the empty blister packs from Rotary Club members.

Remember, though, that the cardboard boxes containing the medication can be placed in your normal paper/card recycling bin.
