Make a Wish

Danetre Daventry Rotary Club raise funds to aid good causes. Though our fundraising has been severely restricted during Covid, we still want to help local groups and charities within the Daventry area and surrounding villages.

We invite applications for funding from local groups sent to the email address Danetre.Rotary.Wish@gmail.com.

Please indicate your group name, geographic base, contact name, email and telephone number together with a description, a maximum of 250 words, of a specific project and its planned impact in the community.

Criteria for the project

  1. Must be focused on local geographic region of Daventry and immediate villages
  2. Project needs a community aspect visible to wider community and is not for “running” costs
  3. Recipient must be an organisation and not an individual
  4. Preferably an existing organisation with a new project and not a re-hash of an old project
  5. The project must somehow be measurable in terms of impact.
  6. Rotary request an opportunity to publicise the project and receive a final report along with photos for social media.

The Rotary Club of Danetre Daventry will be awarding funds for up to 6 projects, limited to one project per group. One top award for up to a maximum of £500 and the other five at a maximum of £250 each.

Projects should be something that would not be done without this funding. New projects with a measurable impact would be ideal.

We do have access to other funds so please do let us know of other projects that are being tackled and we can look at them separately to this initiative. This project is to make a difference to several local based groups. Get those applications in.

Closing date for entry is 30th May 2021. If you require further clarification or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us on Danetre.Rotary.Wish@gmail.com . We look forward to receiving details of your projects
