OUR WORLD'S GREATEST MEAL POSTPONED
BUT THE FIGHT TO END POLIO GOES ON
Members will have noticed that we have not organised a World’s Greatest Meal for this year. As you will appreciate the Covid restrictions have not allowed us to meet in person. Accordingly, it was not possible to arrange a WGM.
But don’t despair. Having spoken with our club Secretary we have agreed to arrange for our next WGM to take place early in the new year and we shall be giving details of the event nearer the time. We hope that you will be as supportive as ever so that we can continue to raise much needed funds towards ending polio for good.
Members may also be concerned about how Rotary will tackle things in Afghanistan. The following report may give some insight.
