Luke Simon, a founder member of "School in a Bag" (SIAB) gave a talk to the Rotary Club Bradford about the charity and its development from conception through the challange of fundraising during the pandemic and on to the charity's plans for the future.  The charity was set up in memory of Luke's brother, Piers, who died in the Indian Ocean tsunami in 2004 with the aim of "Transforming lives through Education". The charity supports children around the world in all countries regardless of race, politics or religion.

Every school bag they provide is filled with essential resources of pencils, biros, exercise books, ruler, maths set, lunch box and spork. The bags numbered and trackable to provide complete donor transparency.
To date the charity have delivered over 125000 bags to 50 countries.  The Rotary Club of Bradford on Avon is delighted to be able to support SIAB. For more information on this charity please follow the link.
