Young Chef 2022

Our area competition at Vyners School in January 2022.

Rotary Young Chef Competition 2022

Pinner Rotary Club is pleased to have been able to work with local schools to produce the next budding Master Chef. Although the regional and national finals of Rotary Young Chef were cancelled again this year due to covid complications, there was sufficient enthusiasm amongst the schools to press ahead with a local competition.

7 contestants took part in the challenge to produce 2 tasty nutritious courses in 2 hours within a budget and with detailed planning. Amongst stiff competition and pressure, the Young Chef winner was Isobel from Northwood School with second prize going to Theo from Vyners School in Ickenham.

Pinner Rotary would like to thank the teachers and children for taking part so enthusiastically and providing some extra curricular activities during a very difficult few years. A special thank you to Vyners School with their excellent facilities for again hosting the competition.

We and our judges look forward to next year’s competition. Please contact us using the contact form if you would like your school to participate.
