Joint winners declared for this years competition


Senior French Speaking last night had two winners!!

Excellent evening with great hospitality by Epsom College - many thanks to them.

Matilda Serre-Simpson from Rosebery and Ellie Jordan from Epsom College were the joint winners and Rania Ismail from Rosebery School was highly commended.

The Mayor Peter O'Donovan was present with Mayoress Mrs Sarah O'Donovan and the Mayor gave speech at the conclusion of the evening praising the skills of all six contestants.  It had been a very closely contested evening.

The judges were Christine Rippon, Catherine Legouas and Diana Deavin assisted by Anne Richardson.

Richard Deavin and Diana Deavin had done most of the work setting the evening up and Nigel Collin was also present as both Rotarian and Chair of Twinning.
