Rotary Club Meeting

Fri, Jun 24th 2022 at 12:45 pm - 2:00 pm

We met at the Holiday Inn for our last lunch together before the new era in the Club's history. Watch this space for information about future meetings.

The last Rotary Lunch before Reformation!

Twelve of us met for our last lunch before the Club is reformed as a flexible meeting for younger professionals. These included a visitor from Cyprus, Rotarian Carol Heads, the daughter of our late member, Syd Hetherington. Carol said that she had been associated with our Club for over 50 years having been a member of the Rotoract Club that was linked to the Club many years ago.

Of the existing members, most are leaving to either to join another local Club, the Rotary North East District Hub or are leaving altogetrher. The intention is that changes will be made to the fomat place and time of meetings in the future to make the Club more appropriate to the needs of today's business people.
