Children's day in the market square

Organised by Go Epsom and supported by Rotary and Paul Taylor of Whats on in Epsom

Organised for the Wednesday before the Jubilee weekend, Epsom Market Square and Epsom Square were full of children and children's entertainers.  Clive and Anne Richardson and Richard and Diana Deavin were there to support the event.  Duties included managing queues, just like Disneyland, and helping with parking and stand taking down.  It was a great summer afternoon with crowds all afternoon. The hot chocolate from Cafè Nero was essential to raise the sugar levels.

We were based in the Mayor's Charities tent, where we met many old friends.
