Kilrymont St Andrews Rotary says ‘Thank You.’
‘Supporting communities’ is Kilrymont St Andrews Rotary’s strapline and principal aim.
We do so by assisting various charities and organisations, not only by offering practical ‘hands on’ help if we can, but also by raising funds from various events-- and every penny raised goes to those in need. Without your help, however, we could not fulfil those aims. So we would like to thank all those who have supported us, and to report that, over the past twelve months, we have helped financially a total of 38 charities—predominantly local, but also national and international groups-- disbursing over £19000. None of this would have been possible without the support of the people of St Andrews and the surrounding area, for which we are most grateful. The beneficiaries for 2021/22 were:
Andy’s Man Club; Cosmos Centre; Christmas treats for local Care Homes; Disability Fife Sportsperson; Disability Sport Scholarships; End Polio Now; Express Group Fife; Families First; Fife Festival of Music; Fife Young Carers; Friends of Craigtoun Park; Friends of St Andrews Botanic Gardens; Global Sight Solutions; Haiti Earthquake Aid; Homestart East Fife; Hut of Wellbeing; Kids Days Out (Summer and Christmas); Lendwithcare to help business start up in the developing world; Link-Fife Mental Health Befriending; Local Primary Schools Environmental Projects; Madrascals Rugby Team; MS Society Scotland; NE Fife Community Hub; Operation Heart Start; Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund; Respite Fife; RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Programme); Shoebox Appeal helping vulnerable communities across Eastern Europe at Christmas; Siblings Reunited (STAR); St Andrews Byre Youth and Community Arts; St Andrews Colts Football Club; Storehouse Foodbank; Sunshine Kitchen; Tayside Children with Cancer & Leukaemia; and Ukrainian Refugee Aid.
