Rotary Bridgend Visit Trelales School

The Headteacher warmly welcomed the Rotarians and reminded the children again about Rotary.

It was an uplifting meeting firstly with seeing the large display of goods that the children had collected for the FoodBank and also the talk that the Headteacher gave on how many words you can find in the word "Harvest,"  ( Eat, Starve, Heart and Heat,  are just a few examples).

After the Headteacher gave his talk, the children sang with a teacher who accompanied them on her guitar.

Towards the end of the Assembly all the Rotarians were invited to join the Headteacher on the  platform and he requested that the RotaKids join us.

Catherine handed the RotaKids Pledge Cards and Badges to the children and the Headteacher, and President Robin, recited the Pledge with the RotaKids.  The RotaKids were asked by the Headteacher to always wear their RotaKids Badges.

Since the meeting The Headteacher has told Catherine that the children are very excited about being involved in RotaKids. 

We are looking forward to working with the group alongside the Headteacher.
