Yvonne gave an excellent talk on how she started the Pumas (her first child having Downs Syndrome), the excellent work that has been done with disabled youngsters wanting to partake in sport, and the challenges they have faced over the years.

A game practiced by people with disabilities is boccia, which is related to bowls and petanque. On behalf of the Pumas, Yvonne challenged Rotary Bridgend to a game - we need to get some practice in!

Rotary Bridgend are delighted to make a donation of £500 to Bridgend Pumas and hope this will be the start of an ongoing relationship.
