Association of Bexley Charities Fair

Bexley Rotary Club Supports the Association of Bexley Charities

It was good to be able to support the Association of Bexley Charities to enable it to hold one of its bi-annual fundraisers.

This was held at the United Reform Church in Geddes Place in Bexleyheath on Saturday 29th October.  The event allowed several local charities to sell various items in aid of their charities, with Bexley Rotary Club paying for the hire of the premises.

The Rotary club itself also took part selling secondhand books, DVDs and CDs.  The morning was good fun with everyone seeming to be happy with the results, both in the monies collected and the opportunity to inform those who came along about their charities work.
