Aberystwyth Student Update

I have started my job as an operational meteorologist technician in September, and since last Thursday I am officially qualified as a weather observer and am currectly working at the Odiham RAF base.

I am also due to detach this March to the Falklands and will spend there 4 months working as a technician, which I am very excited about. I will make sure to photograph plenty of penguins and send you some of the photos. I am hoping to qualify as a forecaster by summer 2024, and planning to apply for more detached roles as time passes.
