27 November 2022- 11am - 5pm - MULLED WINE AND MINCE PIES Stall at GO EPSOM WINTER FESTIVAL
Attending the Go Epsom Winter Festival with Go Epsom, where we were invited to run a mulled wine and mince pie stall. It unfortunately rained for much of the day, but that did not stop people attending and enjoying the many other stalls, rides and stage entertainment. They also stayed for the Town Centre Lights switch on.
The Epsom Rotary Stall was very well manned by members of Epsom Rotary who found themselves busy much of the day selling the ever popular warm mulled wine and mince pies, and we had endless supplies thanks to Maggie and Anne who organised the mulled wine and mince pie purchasing. There was a welcome and generous donation by Waitrose Epsom too, who donated a case of 90 rather delicious mince pies.
The stage entertain included dancing performances, a light juggler, vocals and other entertainers in rather striking custumes interacting with everyone. There were of course other charity stalls who also provided activities.
It was just wonderful seeing everyone enjoying themselves, the atmosphere vibrant and the mulled wine rather good.
