Scarborough Cavaliers Rotary
What’s it all about ? Fun & Fundraising !!
Sunday 18 June at the North Yorkshire Water Park is when teams of 17 paddle in races in 12 metre dragon boats. Winners’ medals will be given out on the day & prizes for special categories (e.g. fastest team of ladies, charities, fathers……) at the presentation evening - July 5.
Local organisations/benefactors, sponsor teams & muster a crew of paddlers and nominate a charity or cause for which to raise funds. Scarborough Cavaliers help sponsors, paddlers, supporters and spectators have a great day out, & work with all participants to raise funds for the charities.
Give us an indication of how you might like to join in:
- Sponsoring a boat & mustering a paddling crew to form your own team.
- Sponsoring a boat & pairing up + other paddler crews to form a team.
- Forming a team (or part team) to paddle as a crew (if a sponsored boat is available).
