Santa Visits Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend

Ward Sister Mair Connick wrote to Bridgend Rotary to request help to buy Hampers for the 22 patients of Ward 18 who would have to spend Christmas Day in hospital.

Ward 18 has elderly long term care patients who cannot be discharged because there is nowhere for them to go or care is not available in their own homes.

We donated £330 to cover 22 Hampers at £15 each for their Christmas Day presents.

President Robin and Santa visited the ward to meet the patients and also Sister Mair Connick and her dedicated staff who were most grateful for our support and donation.
