HIGH STREET COLLECTION IN AID OF TURKISH/SYRIAN EARTHQUAKE DISASTER

All Day Collection in Epsom Town Centre raised around £850
HIGH STREET BUCKET COLLECTION FOR TURKISH AND SYRIAN EARTHQUAKE DISASTER
Together with Ewell Rotary, Epsom Rotary collected for the earthquake in Turkey/Syria. Lots of support from the general public, although the weather wasn't the best for standing around all day.
Members of both clubs pooled resources in hourly or two hourly slots so that the whole day could be covered to collect for this extreme disaster.
Rotary International are in direct contact with the Rotary Clubs in Turkey and will utilise those contacts to provide direct aid. We will also utilise organisations such as Shelter Box as they have quick access to the needy in those areas. Many Rotary Clubs around are also carrying out similar much needed fund raising events.
