There are young people doing wonderful work in our community who deserve recognition.
Our late member Malcolm Keene worked tirelessly inspiring the young in Godalming. So in his memory the Rotary Clubs in Godalming wish to reward those who have made outstanding contributions to our local community. This may be as a carer, fundraising for good causes or perhaps involvement with voluntary organisations. There are likely to be other similar tasks that a young person has done to benefit the community that often has not been recognised.
If you know a young person (10-18) doing good things in the community, then nominate them for our award. The nomination form is available here. Applications should be sent by email to godalmingrotary.youth@gmail.com or by post c/o D Hunter, 28 Consort Court, 5 York Road, Woking, GU22 7XP. The closing date is 15th May 2023.
The winner will receive £200 and a commemorative plaque.
