When Covid lockdown hit the UK, all events ceased and charity fundraising activities were limited, causing a loss in funds available for those in need.
During this time, Sally Gander continued efforts to raise funds for the club by selling unwanted items online, with assistance from her husband, Rotarian Geoff Gander, who sadly passed away earlier this year.
Sally's efforts raised over £6,000 for Senlac Rotary Club and this evening the club presented her with the Paul Harris Fellow award to acknowledge her outstanding contribution.
This is the first time that Senlac Rotary Club has awarded such an award to a non-Rotarian.
Thank you for all your hard work Sally,
from all at Senlac Rotary Club.
