Tibbs has become a life style for many people offering a wide range of regular opportunities to meet others while engaging in a variety of cognitively and physically stimulating group activities. Our disability model focuses on what people can do, supporting them to find their voice through a range of activities.
A message from Sarah Russell, CEO of Tiibbs Dementia. (June 2023)
A massive thank you to the Rotary Club of Bedford Park and especially David Eales for organising a superbly successful St George's Day golf tournament and for raising the magnificent total of £6,130.00 to support the work of Tibbs Dementia Foundation and especially our sports activities. I can only imagine the time and effort that goes into organising an event such as this and not only was it a day enjoyed by all who played but also raised a significant amount of money to support our services. Thank you to all involved and to the generosity of players and sponsors to raise such an impressive total.
Nick and I were pleased to attend the Rotary Club's breakfast meeting this week to receive the cheque from their President Harry Fowler. Whilst there I was also able to speak with our Rotarian friends who have been so helpful through the years in supporting us with the allotment. Each year they offer their time to help prepare the site for our new season and undertake any remedial work necessary to ensuring we're ready for action. Over the years they've helped us build a polytunnel, resurface to roof of the shed and dug and weeded with enthusiasm. Thank you to the Rotary club of Bedford Park for your continued friendship, practical help and fundraising efforts.
