Wednesday 28th June brought our last meeting of the 2022-23 when President Graham Goss handed over the chain of office to President 2023-24 Martin Thornton.  We were delighted to have Assistant Govenor, Dawn Wright, join us who commented on our plans for the coming year.

We were also delighted to be joined on Zoom by four of our honorary members who are also past presidents, Jon Newman (Devon) John Fortunka (Calgory Canada) Dick Roberts (Northamptonshire) and Peter Booker (Lincolnshire) as well as a couple of current members who could not make the meeting in person.

Outgoing President Graham thanked the Club for all the support he had received from members in his year and in particular Club Secretary Nick Mabey.

President Martin spoke with enthusiasm about his coming year as he seeks to revitalise our fundraising plans to support a very busy schedule of Community, International and Environmental Projects.
