STALL at Epsom ECO FAIR - 01 July 2023.
Epsom Rotary held a stall at this year's Sustainable Epsom & Ewell Eco Fair held at St Martins of Tours, Church Street Epsom. Many other local local environmental groups also attended such as the Tree Advisory Board, Dr Bike, the Repair Cafe, and attendees the Epsom Common Allotment Association,
Maggie had put a great deal of thought into how the stall would look, collated fresh herbs, vegetables and flowers (kindly grown and donated by one of the Allotment holders) for the stand and an Epsom Rotary display board put together by Anne and Maggie, The stand also exhibited re-used antique but beautifully preserved sentimental crockery and glassware which added even more vibrant colour to the stand. We also had a game for children and promoted the Allotment Project which supplies beautifully grown food to support the Food Bank at The Panty in South Street, Epsom. Other Epsom Rotary Projects. were promoted on the stand.
We were again delighted to be honoured by the presence of His Worshipful Mayor of Epsom and his Mayoress. It was so lovely meeting people and talking about the wonderful work we do at the allotment and we were also able to highlight other projects and good causes we are involved in.
If you would like to experience the journey of Epsom Rotary which is about community, charity, fun, volunteering and friendship please contact us on 01372 813679. We are open to all.
