Past-President John Parker was taken by surprise by his fellow Rotarians recently when he was presented with a certificate from Rotary International honouring his 40 years of service to the communities of Leyland.
Former GP, John, was left almost speechless at this award - and that doesn't happen very often!
Sincere congratulations and thanks to John for his unstinting dedication to the work of Rotary in the town.
