LEYLAND BARRACUDAS - 'MAKING A DIFFERENCE' AWARD

Leyland Rotary sponsor the 'Making A Difference' Award and this year's winner is 17 year-old Liv Robinson seen here with Leyland Rotary President Jim, Barracudas' Chairman Jon Ward, and 'Rotaduck' who was busy promoting our virtual Duck Race.

Thanks to AVANT GARDEN CENTRE, LEYLAND for its donation of purple crocus bulbs which are blooming nicely. These have been planted in association with Leyland in Bloom in the Peace Garden at South Ribble Civic Centre.

YOUTH SPEAKS

Good luck to the teams from Balshaw’s High School who will be competing in the North of England final of Youth Speaks in Frodsham on Sunday 21 April. Leyland Rotarians will be there cheering them on!

The first Pitch4Pounds awards have been made and other bidders invited to make their 'pitches' in May when they will give a brief account of what the funds are needed for and how they will benefit the local community.

At the start of his presidential year, Rotarian Jim Costello outlined his hopes that in our 70th year we in Leyland Rotary will be able to expand our involvement with the local community.
