Here's a quick roundup of what your favourite project-focused Rotary club has been up to these past two months. We are now roaring ahead into our second year of Rotary in Cardigan Bay and establishing ourselves as a project based Rotary Club in West Wales. Our small gestures are creating a MASSIVE impact on the communities we serve.

Cultivating Young Minds:
Our collaboration with the eco-council of the local primary school is bearing fruit (quite literally). We're proud to have helped develop their polytunnel, which not only aids in teaching the children about sustainability and self-sufficiency but also entrepreneurship. They have generated funds through an after-school plant sale and currently sales from the vegetable harvest.

Sparking Interests in Rotakids:
Good news! Our community outreach has seen more primary schools showing interest in partnering with us. Getting ready for the new school year, in Aberaeron, we're thrilled to be re-establishing Rotakids, the dynamic youth branch of Rotary. Get ready to see the next generation of leaders in action!

More Than Just a Meal:
We're honoured to announce that with our support for secured funding, the Cardigan Food Bank can now offer cooked meals from their fully kitted out kitchen, extending warmth and nutrition to more families in need. Every meal served is a step closer to a hunger-free Cardigan Bay.

Offering Financial Guidance:
Understanding the challenges many face, we've introduced a debt counselling sheet for food bank users. Because we believe in not just feeding the stomach but also empowering those in their time of need.

Saving Our Waters:
The Cardigan swimming pool is a cherished community asset. We're diving deep into strategies and collaborations to secure it’s future, ensuring Cardigan, and the area it serves, continue to enjoy this facility for many years to come.
