Car Boot Sale August 2023
Maria Anstiss ran a stall all morning and raised money for Epsom Rotary Funds

A Car Boot Sale was held at Hook Road Arena on Sunday and Maria attended to raise funds for Epsom Rotary. She arrived with a car full of items donated by club members at around 7.30 and set up het pitch. There was a steady flow of customers through the session to 12 noon some just browsing and quite a few buying as many noticed the sign saying that funds were being raised for Epsom Rotary.
This was one stall of around 900 competitive sellers, so in retrospect, we did pretty well in raising around £50 profits and all in a mornings effort.
Maria still manages a spot on Facebook Marketplace, where she continues to raise money for Epsom See "Epsom Rotary Bring n Buy". We welcome donations of goods to continue with this worthwhile project.
