'The Fun & Happiness Charity' having helped to shape the charity...
The
National Rotary KidsOut Day is the highlight of every year at the
charity with the event providing a fun day out for disadvantaged
children across the UK.
This
year alone, the 33rd National Rotary KidsOut Day took over 20,000
disadvantaged children to over 100 different attractions and events.
Locally,
Dumfries Rotary Club, Dumfries Devorgilla Rotary Club, Annan Rotary
Club, Lockerbie & District Rotary Club and Thornhill & District
Rotary Club organised a day of fun & happiness for children in
supported learning from thirteen schools in their areas.
The
event, on Tuesday 29th August at The S.R.U.C Barony Campus was blessed
with perfect summer weather! The ice cream van was busy and the hot dogs
went down a treat!
