A big THANK YOU from Rainhill Rotary
The first Rainhill Rotary Beer Festival was back in 2003 and has grown in popularity over the years.
Last year our 18th Beer Festival raised £25,000 and this year could be our most successful yet!
Today our commitment to ensuring this latest success of our 19th Annual Beer Festival, for the hundreds of real ale enthusiasts who attended, will be matched by the members’ desire for distributing the thousands of pounds collected through our Community Support Fund to help local charities and worthwhile causes over the next 12 months.
Ours many sponsors cannot be thanked enough and they have enabled us to offer 100 beers, 20 lagers & 30 ciders along with a Prosecco bar and wines. New for 2023 was a Gin bar proving very successful. Food was available and FREE soft drinks provided by Coca Cola from our Driver’s Bar. Our customers managed to drink over 95% of the beers, most Ciders and all the Lagers.
A special thanks also goes to our many volunteers who helped with the set-up, manning the bars and take down for without their assistance the community event would not have been possible.
To date we have donated over £400,000 to local charities and good causes through this and our Christmas Float collections which start in December.
It is the Club’s intention to hold our 20th Festival next year again in October.
Watch this space for next year …… Cheers!
