EPSOM TOWN CENTRE - LIGHTS ON

Fri, Nov 22nd 2024 at 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The Club held a mulled wine and mince pies stall at the vibrant event

Light Switch On - Epsom Town Centre

Hosted by Epsom and Ewell BC was the evening for the Light Switch-on which held stage entertainment with many of the local dance schools performing, Rock Choir and members of the Epsom Playhouse Christmas Pantomime of Cinderella.

Around there were stalls with delicious street foods, fairground rides and stalls and Epsom Rotary were accordingly invited again this years to hold a mulled wine and mince pies stand, which proved extremely popular amongst the many visitors adding a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere to Epsom Town Centre. Epsom

Town Centre have on display a beautiful large Christmas tree and the light switch-on was part of the Mayor's role together with the various street lighting.

It was great to be part of this spectacular event, we were extremely busy and even sold out at one point, but with more supplies were able to continue with the roaring trade. The mulled wine was very welcoming on such a cold night and a great turnout for the club as a whole.  Thanks to those particularly who organised the event.
