Quiz Night - Little Common Community Centre

Fri, Mar 28th 2025 at 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Friday 28 March 2025. Raising funds to support local and overseas communities.

Nearly 90 people joined in a quiz organised by the Rotary Club of Senlac St Leonards. The quiz, held at Little Common Community Centre on Friday 28th March, was won by the team Poor Expectations and raised over £500 which will be donated to the Club’s own charity, The Yellowmen. The Yellowmen have been working for over 20 years in the Pokot area of north-west Kenya and, in this time, have built schools, clinics, accommodation and installed fresh water as well as running education and hygiene courses for the local people. Senlac St Leonards Rotarian Ray Dixon, the organiser of the quiz, was delighted with the evening, “It was a good social evening so thanks to all those who took part and helped us raise needed funds to help continue our work in Kenya.”
