On Easter Sunday, 20th April 2025 we organised the re-enactment of the journey the Brontës made when they moved house from Thornton to Haworth in 1820.

The magnificent horses, their splendid coachmen and the 5 Brontë children, with Patrick and Maria Brontë and baby Anne alongside, captured everyone's imaginations.   Village children in period costume and adults in Regency finery added to the atmosphere.

Walkers made their way to Haworth, walking in the footsteps of the Brontës.

All proceeds are to support the further development of the Brontë Birthplace.
