Members had agreat time when they were hosted at President Pat's home for a social afternoon just before Christmas.

Drinks and Nibbles

December, and time for our traditional “Drinks and Nibbles” party, hosted by our incumbent President.  2024 was no exception, and Patrick and Carol, fresh from their long trip to Australia and New Zealand, invited everybody along to their home on December 15 to enjoy each other’s company and reminisce about the year gone by.

No clash with the Christmas Market this year, so the event was very well supported.

Ample parking in front of the house and the garage, so only a short walk to the house for a warm welcome, and table laid with food and a separate drinks station, all in the kitchen.  Our hosts offered the drinks, and invited all to sample the food.

Surprisingly (?) all the guests gathered in the kitchen to catch up on family news, and some moved on to the lounge for a quieter environment and a chance to sit and rest weary legs.  

There was plenty of food, more than a nibble, and plenty of drinks.  Food consumed, drinks downed, everybody had really enjoyed themselves.

Thank you, Patrick and Carol, for a great time (especially so soon after your return from your long trip!
