About Rotary

Rotary is an International service organisation with global reach, made up of approximately 1.2 million members. It has been serving communities worldwide for over a hundred years.

But what does that actually mean? Ask any Rotarian and they will tell you it is one of the best decisions they have ever made. Why, I hear you ask. Because its bigger than anything you'll ever do, it will allow you to be a complete human being  and its fun.

It’s the sort of thing that gives you that warm feeling in your tummy. The personal benefits are amazing – you gain additional skills that you would be unable to get anywhere else, build your network both personally and professionally for about the price of a cup of coffee a week, as well as given me a ready made support network.

Rotary in Yorkshire comprises 99 clubs, which meet weekly at various times and in a variety of venues throughout the counties of Yorkshire, Humberside and North Lincolnshire. All have different personalities and aim to make their communities a better place.
