The Rotary Club of Halifax teamed up with the Rotary Club of Halifax Calder to hold their heat at Ravenscliffe High School and Sports College on 17th March. Eleven Schools took part and the top six Schools are now going through to the Final at The Shay Stadium 6pm on Thursday 26th May.
The Rotary Club of Halifax started this competition two years ago when twelve schools were involved. We now have six clubs from down the valley holding heats, and three Schools from each club go through to the Final. Between the six Clubs thirty four Primary Schools are now involved in heats which shows the growing popularity of this competition.
This is a great opportunity for Rotary to become involved with Primary Schools, and I would like to invite representatives from any other Rotary Club to come along to our Final to see what goes on.
