John Bolton RIP
John Bolton 1934-2014
It is with much regret that we have to announce the passing into higher office of one of our longer standing members at the Rotary Club of Wickford, John Bolton.
At the age of 79 John recently became seriously ill and after a hard fight he sadly lost the battle.
John was brought up in the Stratford East London and married his childhood sweetheart Eileen at the age of 22, and they brought up three children. He built a creditable career as a mechanical engineer over many years and ultimately became a director of the company he worked for, during which time he was the Engineering Director of the QE2.
John was a member of Round Table in Wickford, and later joined the Rotary Club,
