Following the completion of a successful RYLA event at Petty Pool in 2016 arrangements have now been made for RYLA 2017 which will take place 30th July - 3rd August. Read details below and act quickly to secure your places.
Petty Pool 30th July - 3rd August 2017
Our District RYLA for 2017 is being held once again at at Petty Pool. The course will run from 30th July - 3rd August. The anticipated cost this year is £275 per student.
This year there will be 14 places available for the RYLA at Petty Pool so early applications are advisable. Do not miss this opportunity to take part. The RYLA experience has proved again and again that students who take part gain in confidence in themselves and develop their leadership and communication skills.
The course presents students with activities and challenges they have never faced before. A good percentage of students have never been away from their families for any operiod of time and RYLA helps them learn the skills of self dependance and learning to live with others.
For any Clubs that are unable to place students on the RYLA course at Petty Pool then John Hallett has a tentaive arrangement with Rotary District 1220 for students to attend a weekend course at Whitehill, Buxton on the weekend 5th - 7th May 20127 at a cost of £150.
For further details on RYLA and to secure places then make contact with Rotarian John Hallett asap.
