In 2016, Rotary Clubs and RHS groups across Britain and Ireland planted over 7 million crocuses. We are particularly proud that in District 1090 clubs and their partners planted 340,000 crocus corms. In 2017, 2018 and 2019 we repeated our success, working with schools and community groups to plant more bulbs.
The 2020 order forms for D1090 are available here to download, with the some instructions on how to plant a Rotary wheel and a template for a press release.
The Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland Polio Team have secured 2 million crocus corms which can be ordered at the price of £135 for a box of 4,000. These will be sold on a first come first served basis and if more can be secured it is expected that the price will rise. The absolute deadline for orders is 31st August 2020. Other details are explained on the order form.
The aim of the crocuses is to raise awareness and raise funds for the End Polio Now campaign. Let's continue this project for a FIFTH YEAR!!
