There may be occasions when incidents arise that could result in negative press for Rotary. Please use the this Rotary GB&I 2017/18 media crisis management procedure (member login required).

Key points

  • Don't panic

  • Contact club president and DG asap

  • Gather all the facts, and appoint one local spokesman

  • Never say "no comment". Take journalist caller details, and call back promptly
