Another brilliant Dragon Boat Challenge !
The 2018 Dragon Boat Challenge ended in another great final race between the top 6 fastest teams from the heats.
Despite the initial weather forcast, for the fifth year in a row the sun shone on another exciting and colourful Dragon Boat Challenge !
Twenty-five teams battled it out in 3 heats to qualify as one of the 12 fastest teams to qualify for the finals.
Congratulations to Kent Boat and Ski Club who retained the Clive Lawrence Memorial Trophy despite some stiff competition from Alltype Surfacing who finished as runners-up and the National Grid Venturers who finished third.
All team times and positions are shown on another page on this website - well done to all the teams.
We would like to thank all those who took part, all those who supported them and of course all our helpers and supporters who made the day run so smoothly.
