At a recent gathering of the Narberth & Whitland Rotary Club, President Tony Ensom had the pleasure of presenting an honour to Mr Rob Newsome OBE, former Head Teacher at Dyffryn Taf school ,Whitland. The honour was the award of a Paul Harris Fellowship lapel pin with Sapphire to recognise the outstanding achievements in the fields of Education, Community Service, Duke of Edinburgh Scheme and invaluable service to Rotary fundraising events. During the past 34 years only three other persons have received such an honour in the local club which shows the high regard that the club members have of Mr Newsome. He thanked the President and guests for the award and pledged to continue helping the club as an honorary member.
