The MusicLicence what is it?
Music amplifies everything it touches. It can turn a field into a festival, a bar into a dancefloor and a job into a passion. So it’s important that we stand up for music by protecting those that make it.
The MusicLicence gives businesses and organisations permission to use millions of
tracks, which helps to protect those whose hard work, time and talent goes into making the music we all enjoy.
Events such as our fireworks displays make use of music for us all to enjoy, and we are pleased to be associated with PPLPRS Ltd who ensure that the hard work that people put into making music is recognised financially.
In return PPLPRS Ltd support these events, recognising that every penny to charity counts, by reducing the cost of The MusicLicence we need, while still protecting the interests of the creators of the music
