BELL TOWER ILLUMINATION 21st to 25th OCTOBER PLEASE COME AND JOIN US

The Rotary Club of Basildon will once again be lighting up the unique glass bell tower of St. Martins Church in aid of The End Polio Now Campaign. Switch on at 7.00pm on Thursday 22nd October

Everyone is invited (groups of 6 only of course) to the Grand Switch-On of the St. Martins Glass Bell Tower, Basildon Town Centre on Thursday 22nd October at 7.00pm for World Polio Day which is 24th October.

This year the tower will be illuminated from Thursday 22nd to Sunday 25th.

Rotary clubs around the world have been supporting the campaign to rid the world of this crippling disease since 1979 and have so far raised over £1.6billion towards immunising affected countries. There are just two countries Afghanistan & Pakistan which still have Polio.

The Rotary club of Basildon has supported this cause since inception and will continue to do so until fruition of the campaign.

If you would like to help us with a donation, for every £1 you donate, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will increase it by £2. So, your £1 becomes £3!!
