D4L (Dictionary for Life) and Literacy
D4L (Dictionary for Life)The D4L Project is a partnership between Rotary and Usborne Publishing Limited.
D4L promotes British English and encourages children to widen their vocabulary to improve their life chances. It is principally aimed at Year 6 Primary School leavers (10 year olds).
The Dictionary has a space for the child’s name on the inside cover in the Rotary information panel.
It is a highly visible promotion for Rotary. It is also a good way to get involved in schools and a useful Public Relations tool.
