Rotaract

Rotaract was created by Rotary International in 1968. The new organisation was designed to promote responsible citizenship and leadership potential in young men and women between the ages of 18 and 30.

What is Rotaract?

Rotaract is an opportunity for young people to be part of a fun, dynamic and unique, international organisation. It offers a wide range of activities for people who want to join with others to make a difference to the community both at home and abroad, and to have a lot of fun doing it!
It offers opportunities for personal and leadership development and gives access to the local, national and international networks that underpin the capacity of Rotary and Rotaract to make a positive difference in the community.

‘New’ Rotaract in District 1070 is working more closely than ever with its sponsoring and supporting Rotary Clubs and is helping to drive new initiatives at the District level: Rotaract epitomises the ‘People of Action’ and ‘Rotary Club Partner’ epithets found in literature of Rotary International.
