Lord Toffingham took us back a few decades to a time when music was loud!!
Hyde Hall came alive to the sounds of the seventies, big time, when Lord Toffingham came to entertain us!
On the last night of "Hyde Hall Live" we were taken back 50 years to when music was sensational. Back in the seventies, nothing kept you away from the dance floor; there was so much music, everything from funk and soul to downright fun pop and everything in between. Slade, T Rex, Mud, Sweet, Blue Oyster Cult, Rod Stewart and all the rest; just a fantastic set for everyone who lived through that brilliant decade. And what about the clothes? So where are your loon pants now?
The rain was relentless. But the people kept coming. The dancing was frenetic and non-stop. And so much air guitar on the rock tracks it wasn't true!Thank you Lord Toff, you reminded us of our youth!
