If your club is involved in a peace-making programme in your community, we would like to offer help.

District Foundation has a small amount of funding available for Peace Grants.

We would therefore invite Clubs who have actual or planned near term Projects to support young people who:

• Need help because they are facing threats of - or are victims of – violence.

• Need counselling for other reasons.

• Are from disadvantaged backgrounds.

You can apply for a small one-off grant towards such projects that may also serve as a potential template to inspire other Clubs towards similar projects.

We would also welcome opportunities to collaborate with other non-Rotary groups who are involved in similar work.

Clubs who wish to apply for a grant should send in a written proposal, together with a budget, to David Rogers (Chair of District 1090 Peace Team) at

Note that if approved, we would expect Clubs to match any one-off grant 50:50.

The deadline is 31st December 2021.
